MEDICAL EDUCATION: IS IT TOO EXPENSIVE ?

Many people especially not having any medical family background thinks that MBBS is too expensive UG for common people to afford. Well this is partial Truth. Because on one Hand there are Private Medical Colleges while on the other hand we have Government Medical Colleges (GMC's).

To seek Admission in Private Medical College we require nearly 6- 25 Lac/ Year. Also some colleges made their expensive Hostel Compulsory for their Students. 
For simplicity we will not discuss here Fees of Deemed University Colleges.(Very Much expensive colleges).

To seek admission in Government Medical College (Nearly Same in all GMC's)admission Fees are as Follows:
# 1st Yr :( IN 2018)
For OPEN category Students: 96,100/- 
(However EBC students have to pay only 50% of Fee)
For Reserve category students (SC, ST,NT, VJ, OBC): 18,300/-   
Hostel Fee: 4000/- for a year. 

# For Other Years:(IN 2019)
For OPEN category Students: 89,800/- 
(EBC students have to pay only 50% of Fee)

For Reserve category students (SC, ST,NT, VJ, OBC): 2000/-

Hostel Fee: 4000/-

*For Scholarship Facility: Income Limit is 1 Lac (For Reserved Category Students)
*Rest Reserve Category Students apply through Freeship Facility. 

(BENEFITS: not require to pay Tution fess + exam fee will be returned)
